"Talking of the pandemic I’ve discovered A LOT of great music and artists this year. That’s probably been the best, unexpected outcome that has arisen from having a lot of time on one’s hands and real life being cancelled.

Territorial Gobbing is one of those artists that has come into my musical sphincter (if I may be so bold) during this time and his weekly Twitch streams that he was doing with a number of other noise artists introduced me to the idea of weird music being enjoyed in a live fashion over the internet. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed this much excellent ‘outsider’ entertainment from the comfort of my own home until this year and for that I thank you TG and I thank you COVID-19. Great job lads.

This is an album of Dictaphone noise and fumbling about and it’s a very much the meat and potatoes of what Terry Gobbing does as far as I know. Screechy, squelchy, malfunctioning gibberish that for some reason is hugely entertaining to listen to. Probably because you have no idea what’s going to come next.

A tasty platter of random homemade noise/s made by someone who clearly loves pissing about with things. It’s probably not his best work but it’s different and it’s creative and it’s distracting and, at a time like this, that’s good enough for me so get stuffed." - SIX IN THE HEAD
